Appliqued Beach Babe T-Shirt
I just love this design from Planet Applique ! It's going to be part of my nieces birthday gift. I love that I can make these appliqued designs for relatives! My boys are too "old" for them! :) There will be more to come as I have several birthdays in the summer to prepare gifts for.

Triton's Gifts
My great-nephew turned 1 and I found an adorable Sock Monkey I had to buy for his birthday, also prompting me to create the sock monkey finger puppets and T-shirt (designs found at www.myembroiderynook.com). The tool belt was a design I purchased from planetapplique.com. My son asked me why I didn't put the design higher on the T-shirt so I reminded him that tool belts are worn around the waist! :) I found the pail at Target to put all the gifts in and cut Triton's name in vinyl to match the pail handle.

Under $38.00 (including tax)
Finally having free time today, my youngest son and I decided to hit up the local Goodwill and Salvation Army stores. The fun of course is in the "hunt"! Well, today I surprised even myself with all the loot I brought home! Some pieces will get some revamping, others will remain untouched.
