Repurposed license plates

In keeping with the "green" philosophy, I love to find new uses for old or discarded items. These clocks were made from old license plates and thrift store clocks. I'll be adding them to my yard sale items at the end of this month.

Studio revamp in progress

Recent pictures of the outside of the studio with landscaping and hardscaping in place...painting of the exterior still needs to be done. Paint scheme will most likely be white with a deep burgandy door.

New to blogging

One of the items on my summer 2009 To-Do list was to create a blog. Why? Because I want a venue to keep track of my current, past and future projects. I enjoy many different crafting projects. Currently my favorite activity is creating jewelry.

In November 2008, I was lucky enough to finally get my own place to craft. I refer to this as my Studio. One of my latest projects has been to decorate both the inside and outside of the Studio. I've been having a ball in both the organizing and decorating the inside of the studio. Now that the Michigan weather has finally warmed up, I have been able to work on the outside as well. Projects on the outside have included adding a wooden patio, lattice, flower beds, solar lighting and a pond. Future outside Studio work will include painting the exterior (it's currently a terrible orangish color) and sealing the roof.
